Heavy Duty LED Task Light
Heavy Duty LED Task Light
Our Heavy Duty LED Task Light is a premium product from start to finish. From the density of the metal to the sturdiness of its components you can tell it’s made well.
Depending on length, each strip has 15 to 75 high-intensity super-bright 5050 tri-chip LEDs. These strips have a three-color power lead wire (red, green, blue) or four wires (12vdc+). This means it can be used in RGB or single color modes.
Low Voltage
Heavy duty LED strips are built to perform in tough outdoor and commercial applications where the strip might be subject to direct impact or submersed in water. They also work well on vehicles, trucks and equipment that are driven over rough terrain where the lights might be jostled or bumped. These are some of the toughest 12vdc work lights you can find anywhere and are ideal for off-road machines, truck beds, vehicle storage bins and other commercial applications.
These LED task lights are equipped with the markets highest performing CREE diode which produces an impressive 125 effective lumen per watt! It’s no wonder they are a favorite among Tug & Barge, Heavy Equipment Machinery and Overland/Off-road enthusiasts.
These 12vdc LED task lights are rated for wet locations (IP66) and come with a 30 amp low voltage transformer which is built to last for decades of use. You can add a timer or photocell port anytime for even more convenience.
The mounting holes on these 12vdc LED light fixtures are threaded for the option of screwing them to the surface if needed. The adhesive on the back of these LED strips is industrial strength 3M VHB tape and it is affixed with a sanding layer which helps it adhere to the most difficult surfaces. The sanding process can result in minor imperfections in the PVC molding and polyurethane coating that protects the LEDs but this is normal for any product that is molded and machined.
Long Lifespan
Heavy Duty Led Lights are designed to withstand tough working conditions. They are made to operate in extreme weather, overland and off road environments where they need to withstand vibrations and shocks generated from the machine or vehicle being driven. They also need to be able to sustain constant operation even when subjected to high pressure washdowns. To do this, the lights have to have a very good current driver Heavy Duty Led Light which is able to efficiently convert Ac to DC current for the LEDs. The current driver should also have measures put in place to handle power surges or brownouts. A faulty current driver will quickly burn/damage the components of the LED bulbs and may cause them to fail prematurely.
The lifespan of LED lights is very long compared to other lighting products. Unlike fluorescent or HID lights, which gradually lose their brightness as they near the end of their lifespan, LEDs retain their original light output until they reach their rated lifetime hours. The LEDs have a very high efficiency rating and are able to deliver a lot of light per watt of electricity used.
While it is difficult to pin down exact lifespan numbers for LED lights, manufacturers usually provide estimates based on the frequency of use and circumstance. For example, if an LED is used on average 250 days a year, it can be expected to last for approximately 8 years.
High Lumen Output
Heavy Duty Led Lights are designed to meet the needs of demanding applications. They are easy to install, durable, and can withstand the harshest conditions. These lights are available in various wattages and lumen outputs to suit your application requirements. They can also be used in hazardous locations, making them suitable for petrochemical complexes, painting facilities, and oil and gas complexes.
For a safe and productive work environment, choose Heavy Duty LED lights that offer the highest lumen output in a small package. These lights provide a consistent beam and optimized color temperature to ensure that you see what’s needed in any work situation. They are also resistant to vibration and shock. This makes them the ideal lighting solution for vehicles that are frequently subjected to high levels of vibration, such as mining equipment and draglines.
These LED high bay fixtures are a perfect replacement for metal halide and HID fixtures. They have a sleek, compact design that is perfect for mounting in tight spaces. They use advanced heat dissipating technology to achieve an excellent 60,000 hour rated lifespan with up to 80% lumen retention.
They are equipped with a corrosion resistant, impact-resistant, polycarbonate lens to protect against debris and environmental elements. They are also designed to withstand extreme temperatures and can be used in wet, humid, or cold environments. They are also available with a wide range of mounts and controls to make them more versatile.
Energy Efficiency
Lighting is an ongoing cost that most business owners try to Heavy Duty Led Light minimize as much as possible. This is especially true in industrial settings where the equipment can be costly to repair or replace if something goes wrong. LED lights reduce energy usage and costs by consuming far less electricity than traditional bulbs or HID lamps. The result is significantly lower operating costs and reduced maintenance expenses.
LEDs use electronic drivers to manage the flow of electricity to the LED chips. This allows manufacturers to integrate features like sensing, dimming and instantaneous on/off into their products. This functionality increases the usability of the light and further cuts down on overall energy consumption.
In addition to reducing energy costs, the low voltage used in these lights makes them safer for employees. Using a system that operates on low voltage is important in areas prone to flooding because it prevents staff from getting potentially fatal shocks if they accidentally come into contact with line voltage components during flood clean-up.
Each Heavy Duty LED strip contains between 15 and 75 high-intensity super-bright 5050 tri-chip LEDs. This makes it one of the brightest LED strips on the market. The PCB is made with 2 ounce copper and encased in industrial grade PVC with 1.2mm of 3M(r) VHB tape affixed to the back. It is recommended that a layer of 3M(r) Adhesion Promoter be applied to the mounting surface before applying the tape to ensure an even stronger hold.
